MEX-D utilises the use of both hot wallet and cold storage as precautionary measures to ensure the protection of our client's assets. MEX-D maintains an online (hot) wallet loaded with only a fraction of digital assets required for operational purposes. The vast majority of digital assets are held offline in cold storage.

MEX-D operates in this way to address the possibility of system compromise.
